Session times are based on needle retention time.  In other words, how long a patient is resting with needles in place.  Session times are padded behind the scenes to handle the amount of time spent discussing and diagnosing the issue prior to treatment.

Based on current studies, 20-minutes seems to be the sweet spot for most patients and most complaints.  There is little difference in treatment outcomes from 15-minutes to 30-minutes and very little incremental benefit beyond 20-minutes.  Because of this, we are putting everyone on a 20-minute session starting in July 2026.
